| March 10,2010 It is six weeks till work weekend. Bill has taken charge of the spring meeting so one and all need to report to Bill as for your attendance this spring. This ALSO includes GUESTS. Bill can be contacted by e-mail, beach@millercanfield.com to give him your attendance intentions. If you are thinking about joining the 400, this well be your opportunity to see what we are doing for the management of our club, to further the wildlife and forestation, you might even request something other then hot dogs and hamburgers to eat, when e-mailing to Bill. Limited sleeping space, so reserve your space soon. Don't have any news from any cabin visits by anybody. Neal has met with Mr. Cook and all is well, in that department. The new DNRE is looking for input to there Deer Management Plan and it appears the masses will determine your fate as far as deer hunting goes. You could put your two cents in by e-mailing the DNRE, address can be found on the Michigan.dnr.gov/dnr along with the plan as it stands now. I made a trip to North Carolina to pig hunt, see friends and help Trail Creek Lodge at the Dixie Deer Classic. The only thing that happened was, saw friends and helped at the show, no pigs. If you got Google Earth and can put in latitude and longitude N 35 deg. 23 min. 247 sec by W 78 deg.14 min. 751 sec you'll find the field I hunted. |
