I've made several trips to cabin these past two
months and finally getting around to update and
post pictures. I've planted Soybeans, Barley and
Corn around the property and all the crops look
good. Bond has even mowed grass with his
mower. I have even sprayed for weeds in the
crops. The rains came and gave the crops the
needed water and even filled the pond. Paul, and
his fishing buddies put fish in the pond, now we'll
see if Mister Otter and Miss Harron return for a
free fish diner. I have edited trail cam pictures and
will post some on the picture page. I went through
about seven hundred pictures and maybe saved
thirty or forty, and your going to be surprised at
what critters are roaming the property.
      One short story I'd like to add, I learned at a
about six years old, glass bottles don't burn in the
burn barrel and it still holds true to this very day,
but somebody at cabin has tried, which is only
going to make work for Bond when he has to fish
glass out of burn barrel to haul to dump, along with
all the plastic crap that didn't burn.














I have not heard of any club members getting a
bear permit, but, I did hear from Bond and it seems
all ten of his only friends got theres, he came out a
looser on drawing once again.
      In the month of July I'll try to put together some
figures for the budget and finance committee to
look over and deliver to the board meeting this
coming September. This is were I ask any of you
who wish for funding for your pet project to call me
with your financial request to add to the budget.
Example would be, money for a new blind, money
to make your own food plot, money for a power
washer to wash your vehicle and possibly some of
the club equipment, crap like that. I think Bill might
even make a request for funding to build new
storage building.
      There hasn't been any reports from any of the
committees, so I can only guess none of them have
come together for a meeting. I am going to call a
meeting for the Do Nothing Committee seeing I'm
the chairman, and all who are on the committee
can call me and I'll tell you were where going to go
fishing at, for our meeting.
      The West Ten property has been surveyed
down our West fence line. I think we need to get a
wire up there and get the trail off his property on
the South West corner.
      I have received and e-mailed Brace R. several
times these past months and he is keeping a
weary eye on the new DNRE with some of there
meetings, thanks for the information. I've also
added to the e-mail list one new interested person.
He and his wife were at a reception, I attended,
seems he knows quite a few of the members
already and I'd like to ask him to attend fall work
weekend.
      I'm going to try and make it up to cabin next
week for more of the same,planting,
spraying,fertilizing, and cutting.
