About 400 Hunting Club
::400 Hunting Club Inc.::
About Us
The Club was established in 1946 as a small
family and close friends non-profit hunting
club.  Only one of the original members is still
alive and hunts. We now have 15
memberships in our club.
The 400 Hunting Club incorporated in the state
of Michigan and operates with bi-laws and
rules and regulations to govern the actions of
the club. The Board of Directors meets twice
a year on the third full weekend in the months
of April and September. The annual
shareholder's meetings are held on November
15 of every year. People interested in joining
the 400 Hunting Club Inc. should contact the
clubs secretary, William Beach for further
information. The membership comes from a
pool of applicants (associate members) who
have filed applications for membership and
have participated for two years in work
weekends and hunting. Applicants will be
voted on by the membership to join the club
when there is a opening available.
The 400 Hunting Club participates in the
Montmorency County soil conservation
programs. The club is a member and sponsor
of the Elk County Gobbler Chapter of the
National Wildlife Turkey Federation. We are a
participant with the American Tree Farms
Association, and member of the Quality Deer
Management Association,using QDMA as a
tool to maintain our deer herd.
